WWE Rumour: Daniel Bryan wants to quit WWE to wrestle again

By Raja

Bengaluru, Oct 2: The YES Movement in WWE had seen an unexpected halt in this year's February when Daniel Bryan had to announce his retirement from the company due to the neck injury. This is the same concussion that made him suffer throughout his entire career.

Though his personal doctors medically cleared him to wrestle inside the ring, WWE has a strong propaganda with the concussions and never gave him a clean chit. He was disappointed by the decision and so were his millions of fans, to say the least.

However, the company brought him back as the General Manager of Smackdown Live during the WWE Draft. A few weeks ago Smackdown was hosted by the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. Daniel Bryan was present at the Philadelphia Phillies game the night before Smackdown. He attended an interview by Attendance Press and remarked about his injuries and retirement, earlier this year.

He commented that he was fine to go inside the ring and WWE's point of view to the concussions is really different.

"I honestly do. All the real concussion specialists who deal with concussions every day, all of them think I am fine."

"You can see it from their point of view. If something happens to me...and then they let me back in the ring, and something happens to me, even if these other doctors say I'm cleared, they're not the ones who the media will blame. Because concussions are such a hot topic issue and everyone's afraid of that sort of thing, that's one of the reasons why I wasn't cleared."

Bryan also added that if it would not be for his family then he might have fought to get out of his contract and wrestle anywhere else in the world. He might do so in the upcoming years, as well. His contract with WWE expires in the year 2018 and hence he is bound to do what the company asks him to do. He also mentioned that he was called and said that he had to be the Smackdown general Manager. They did not want his opinion whether he likes it or not.

"Hell, I might even be wearing a mask at an independent show next week dressed up as Star Man," Bryan said. "Because it's what I love to do. But, it becomes different when you have a wife and you're trying to have kids."
