Bengaluru, Mar 5: We have previously given some big hints about this year's Wrestlemania card. But, it keeps on changing until we get closer to the biggest event of the year in WWE. As per the latest update, the match card of the biggest PPV has been drastically changed.
Going by a leaked backstage creative report on the social media platforms, matches featuring the Undertaker, Roman Reigns, Kevin Owens and Bray Wyatt has undergone major modifications.
Plus, a big stipulation was added to the match between Goldberg and Brock Lesnar. Take a look at the paper which pitched the actual Wrestlemania match card.
Here're the matches that were altered:
Goldberg Vs Brock Lesnar (Loser retires from WWE)
Kevin Owens Vs Chris Jericho (WWE Universal Championship)
Bray Wyatt Vs Randy Orton vs. Luke Harper (WWE championship)
Roman Reigns Vs Samoa Joe vs. Sami Zayn (United States championship)
The Undertaker Vs AJ Styles
The most surprising element on the card is to see AJ Styles being featured against the Undertaker. After what transpired with Taker and Roman Reigns at the Royal Rumble, a match between these two was evident at Wrestlemania.
On the other hand, AJ Styles was supposed to feature in a match against Shane McMahon. In this card, there's no mention of Shane-O-Mac, as you can see and hence he might just present at the event as just the Smackdown commissioner.
The card also indicates that Chris Jericho would lose his US title to anyone from the stated triple threat US championship match to feature in the Universal championship match. This means that KO will retain his title at Fastlane against Goldberg.
It is not likely that KO would win fair and square against the Myth, this Sunday. Hence, a surprising appearance from Brock Lesnar is expected to distract Goldberg and cost the championship.
This would also help to add the big stipulation into the main event of Wrestlemania after which any one of them would bid goodbye to the squared circle.
