Bengaluru, Sep 21: The issue between Daniel Bryan and The Miz is the talk of the WWE Universe since the Miz has delivered a power-packed promo on Talking Smack.
Since then the self-proclaimed Hollywood A-lister is giving trouble to the Smackdown General Manager. Also, along with this, he's been taunting Bryan by saying that he could not wrestle anymore for the neck injury.
Prior to the Backlash PPV, Miz wanted a contract negotiation. He also addressed the same issue in public last week on Smackdown.
He walked off the show saying that he will not wrestle according to the GM's planning until he gets his contract renegotiated.
The social media was torn by The Miz taking a shot on Bryan on Twitter and Facebook. However, when it looked that things have been settled, a certain announcement changed everything.
The Miz wanted to compete only in non-title matches. But, Bryan put him in an Intercontinental title match against Ziggler on Smackdown Live just after the contract was renegotiated.
He was seemingly frustrated with his sudden title defense and refused to do it on yesterday's show.
However, Bryan pointed out the clause in his contract which said that if he does not feature in the title match, he will lose his job as a Smackdown superstar.
So, the Miz was forced to go into the title match. He retained the title once again by spraying something into Ziggler's face and the saga will continue into the upcoming weeks.
Previously, Miz said in an interview that the blue brand has not understood his value yet. If he is not satisfied with his demands then he might go on to Monday Night Raw.
This gave birth to the speculations that The Miz might jump ship to Raw. This is significant since Jack Swagger has renewed his contract with Smackdown once it got expired with Raw.
There has been talks of Cesaro might head to Smackdown, as well. So, we might get an exchange between superstars in the upcoming weeks.
