Bengaluru, August 22: Summerslam is in the history books of the WWE as we will see a new journey beginning on Smackdown.

Unlike Raw, the blue brand has plenty of times in hand before they go into a new PPV. It will be Hell in a Cell event in October which means there will be a longer span to set up the fresh storylines.

Considering the Summerslam week is still on, tonight's episode of Smackdown will yet again be hosted by the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

The live streaming will be available on the Sony Ten 1 Network at 5.30 AM IST (August 23). The repeat telecast will be available at 5 PM IST and 10 PM IST on the Sony Ten 1 Network, tomorrow (August 23)

There were quite a few title changes on the Summerslam night. But, the modern-day Maharaja continued his reign using pure mind games against Nakamura. The Singh Brothers turned out to be the difference, yet again.

It is supposed that the feud between Nakamura and Jinder has just started to pick up rather than a culmination. Jinder has to defend his title, once more against the Japanese sensation. But, this time it will be inside Hell in a Cell in October and this storyline will unfold on Smackdown.

It is quite evident that after losing the US title match, Kevin Owens will target none other than the commissioner, Shane McMahon. It was the verbal altercation between them that created the distraction for him. So, now that he is out of the feud against AJ Styles, Shane is going to Owens's new opponent.

In a surprise, Natalya was crowned as the new Smackdown Women's Champion at Summerslam. The Queen of Harts deserved this for a long time. However, it is likely that she will have to drop it, sooner. So, we can expect Naomi getting her rematch or Carmella cashing in, at the earliest.

The Usos are at the top of the world, right now. Hence, they were awarded the tag-team titles, rightfully. It is evident that the New Day will come out for a championship rematch. We will see when that is going to be announced.

The rivalry between Randy Orton and Rusev will continue, tonight, The Bulgarian Brute will get another chance after the disaster that he faced at Summerslam. Plus, a surprise appearance from Dolph Ziggler is also expected on the show.
