WWE Top 5 rumours of this week: February 3rd, 2017

Randy Orton’s Royal Rumble win might just do a favor to Bray Wyatt instead of the Viper, himself.

By Raja

New Delhi, Feb 3: The Royal Rumble event is passed behind us and now it's time we find out what WWE has in store for us for the grandest stage of them all i.e. Wrestlemania.

At this time we are learning that a top name is willing to hang up his boots after entertaining all of us in his prime for two decades whereas a new emerging talent is on his way to take his place.

There are a few more rumours collected from the WWE grapevine. Have a look at those.

Bray Wyatt to become champion soon

Randy Orton's Royal Rumble win might just do a favor to Bray Wyatt instead of the Viper, himself. This might be a slow process to bring up the Eater of the World to the main event picture by letting him go with a veteran like Randy. Going by the rumour mill, Wyatt will be featuring in the championship picture at Wrestlemania and scheduled to hold the WWE championship either at the grandest stage or shortly after it.

Fatal-4-way match at Wrestlemania

Sasha Banks fans should not lose faith on the WWE Creative. She's not facing any sort of backstage heat. As per the sources, WWE still has big plans for her at Wrestlemania. It might turn out to be a feud with Stephanie McMahon or turning heel in the near future. It was teased by her actions towards Bayley this week on Raw. If none of these can be arranged then she will return to the title picture which will feature a fata-4-way match among Bayley, Sasha, Charlotte and Nia Jax.

Planning with Roman Reigns

After what Strowman did to Roman Reigns at the Royal Rumble PPV, it is evident that a feud between these two is closing in. They will soon lock horns be it at Wrestlemania or at Fastlane.

Since Strowman has already brought to the championship picture by letting a match against Owens, it's evident that we might see a universal championship match between these two at the grandest stage of Wrestlemania. A triple threat match option is also on the card.

Kurt Angle to be in main event Wrestlemania 34

This year, Wrestlemania is already stacked with star-studded matchups with names like Goldberg. Lesnar, Undertaker, Triple H and more featuring in those matches. So, WWE has left the planning of bringing him back to in-ring capacity for this season. It is heavily rumoured that he will be back on WWE TV being the face of the WWE 2K18 video game which will be released later this year. With this move, he will be let into WWE storylines to headline next year's Wrestlemania with a mega match.

Triple H to retire from in-ring competition

The Game might no more be seen competing inside the ring after this year's Wrestlemania. His ongoing feud with Rollins will continue to culminate at the biggest stage of them all.

But, Triple H has desired to hang up his boots after this one to focus more on the creative contents. This will be huge for the Architect if he indeed retires one of the all-time greats at Wrestlemania. This will lift his career up to one level whereas the cerebral assassin will bid adieu to the squared circle.
