Bengaluru, Mar 13: It was on the last episode of Smackdown Live where Dean Ambrose was brutally attacked by Baron Corbin. The attack took place at the backstage after Ambrose was searching out the Lone Wolf.

These two has been seen engaging in a brawl over the last few weeks so that a proper culmination can be made with a match at Wrestlemania.

This past week's attack was a part of that only after which Ambrose was taken to the local medical facility.

WWE.com later gave updates that matching with his persona, the Lunatic Fringe tried to come out of the ambulance and headed back to the arena to get redemption on Corbin. He was spilling out blood with coughs, following the attack.

This is what the official website has posted regarding the matter: “In a brutal backstage assault, Corbin attacked the champion with a steel pipe and crushed him under a forklift.

"Ambrose reportedly had difficulty breathing, and rumors indicate that he was coughing up blood.

While en route to the medical facility, Ambrose reportedly jumped out of the vehicle and started heading back to the Bankers Life Fieldhouse on foot."

It is just a matter of time that WWE officially announces the match between these two at Wrestlemania.

Ambrose will defend his Intercontinental championship against Corbin in a match which is going to be extremely physical. We have seen the preview of the same during these past weeks.

The fact that both of them will stop at nothing has started the speculations that this match will be contested in a certain capacity.

A stipulation like Falls Count Anywhere, No Disqualification or No Holds Barred will be added to it in due course.

Baron Corbin is likely to be the winner in this bout to become the new IC titleholder on Smackdown.

A win at Wrestlemania against a bonafide competitor like Ambrose will be a huge boost to his career. He will be further used to retain the prestige of the title, going forward.
