WWE: Will Jeff Hardy face Undertaker at Wrestlemania?

The rumour mill has suggested that Jeff Hardy might turn out to be the one for next year’s WrestleMania.

Bengaluru, Dec 4: We still don't know who is going to be Undertaker's opponent at Wrestlemania.

Every year before the season starts to pick up, WWE like to tease the pro-wrestling fans with the probable options available for the Deadman and then comes up with a shocker.

Just like, they did this year by bringing in Shane McMahon, out of nowhere.

The rumour mill has suggested that Jeff Hardy might turn out to be the one for next year's Mania. This was due to the reason that Jeff Hardy has always been very vocal about getting one last match at WWE with Taker.

He further wanted the match to be a Hell in a Cell one. The idea is obviously a good one despite Jeff not being under WWE's contract.

Recently, the Enigma has appeared in an interview with the Sports Illustrated where he once again spoke up about getting the match. However, this time he was concerned about Taker's body and age. He commented,

“Wrestling 'Taker is still a dream match I would love to make happen—though I don't know how his health is or if he'll ever return to 'Mania—and I was stuck on that for the longest time.

"Now I'm open to the idea of being a part of something new rather than something old. The stuff Matt and I are doing is so creative and fun, and I want to continue this journey for as long as I can—and make TNA the best company it possibly can be."

For fulfilling his dream to main eventing Wrestlemania he first has to leave TNA and sign a contract with WWE.

Both his and his brother, Matt Hardy's contract is set to expire in February 2017. However, they are still not expected to jump ship to WWE from TNA.

Jeff also commented on a possible future WWE return, some day. But, as you can see below the chances are pretty less.

“People always ask Matt and I if we'll ever go back to WWE, but we are having such a good time with this creative liberty in TNA.

We're able to do what we want to do. The show is built around us, and that's something that makes me really proud."
