Bangladesh have comprehensively beaten Sri Lanka in the opening match of the Asia Cup in Dubai. Sri Lanka's sloppy catching and fielding quickly translated into lazy batting, with the top order collapsing in a heap to some questionable strokeplay. When Angelo Mathews was pinned LBW the result was never in doubt, although Sri Lanka's lower order added a few lusty blows to delay the inevitable.
