England post another mammoth total. It is becoming a regularity now. The first side to post seven consecutive scores of 300 plus in ODI cricket. Bangladesh were good in spells, but the bowlers were overwhelmed by the power of the batsmen. Jason Roy struck a marvellous 153, and there was good contributions from plenty others as well. A very difficult chase for the Tigers. They need a Tamim special if they are to pull this off. The hosts in the driving seat at the halfway mark.

Very good from Bangladesh, and Mustafizur! They are taking wickets to restrict England. Stokes tries to manoeuvre it over point, but gets cramped for room. High off the bat, and Mortaza nearly makes a mess of the catch. Juggled twice before he eventually held on.

Tries to pump it out the ground, comes right off the toe end, and Sarkar takes another smart catch running in from the deep. Bangladesh doing a decent job at the back end here.

Mehedi Hasan to Eoin Morgan. Off break half volley, outside off stump on the front foot driving, mis-timed in the air uncontrolled to long off for 2 runs, dropped catch by Iqbal, fielded by Sarkar. It was a hittable length from Saifuddin, but Buttler didn't quite get the elevation to get it over the rope. Flipped away behind square, and Sarkar pouches nicely on the edge.

  • 48.5
Mustafizur Rahman c Jonny Bairstow b Jofra Archer 0 (3)

OUT! Caught. Jofra Archer to Mustafizur Rahman. Short, down leg side ducked Fended, Gloved in the air uncontrolled to short fine leg, by Bairstow. A fiery way to finish off precedings. A sharp bouncer, one that Mustafizur doesn't fancy wearing. The ball lobs up off the glove, and it is the simplest of catches for the keeper.

A dominating win from England. They are back to business after that loss to Pakistan. An excellent performance from the hosts. They were better than Bangladesh in every department today. Jason Roy sets things up with his brutal 153. Shakib al Hasan produced a fine century of his own to keep the English at bay, but in the end, they were able to mop things up and secure the win by 106 runs. Their next game is against the West Indies next Friday, and Bangladesh will take on Sri Lanka on Tuesday.

Plenty of width for Mehedi to go chasing after, and he tries to slash it over backward point, but gets it all wrong. Feathered off the toe end, and Bairstow makes no mistake behind the stumps.
