Indore, Nov 15: Mayank Agarwal cracked his second double century to lead Indian batsmen torment Bangladesh bowlers on the second day of the opening Test here on Friday (November 15).
Mayank Agarwal, who resumed batting from 37* went on scoring 243 off 330 deliveries and equalled Navoj Singh Sidhu's record of hitting most number of sixes in a Test innings (8) before getting out.
Riding on their openers' record-equalling double century and fifties from Cheteshwar Pujara (54), Ajinkya Rahane (86) and Ravindra Jadeja (60*) the hosts posted a mammoth 493-6 by the time umpires signalled the end of play. The Indians' lead in the first innings has swelled to 343 which has already left the tourists gasping.

Earlier on Day 1, India reached 86/1 after 26 overs at the end of the day's play after their bowlers restricted an inexperienced Bangladesh batting attack to 150 at the Holkar Cricket Stadium.
