Ranchi, October 19: Rohit Sharma made an unbeaten 117, his sixth Test hundred and third in the series, and Ajinkya Rahane an unbeaten 83 as India finished the Day 1 of the third Test against South Africa on a sound 224 for three at the JSCA stadium here on Saturday (October 19).
Bad light and rain stopped the play a few overs into the final session of the day and the officials called off the proceedings with India on a firm landing space after being reduced to 31 for three while batting by choice.
