New Delhi, May 19: The league stages of the 11th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has finally come to an exciting end as the final four teams for play-off stages could only be finalised till the end of the final league match that was played between Chennai Super Kings and Kings XI Punjab on Sunday (May 20).
Sunrisers Hyderabad finished at the top spot in the 8-team standings with 18 points from 14 games while CSK finished at the second position with 18 points but a slightly low net run rate. Both SRH and CSK secured 9 wins from 14 games.

Kolkata Knight Riders (16 points from 14 games) finished at the third position while Rajasthan Royals were lucky enough to finish at the fourth as Mumbai Indians lost their final league game at the hands of Delhi Daredevils.

As of Sunday (May 20) at the end of Match No. 56, SRH and CSK are the two teams to have qualified for the play-offs.
Top two teams in the points table will clash with each other in the Q 1 while the teams at 3rd and 4th position will face each other in Eliminator. The Winner of Eliminator will lock horns with the loser of Qualifier 1 in the Qualifier 2. Winner of Qualifier 2 will then face the winner of Qualifier 1 in the Final.
