Bengaluru, November 15: The auction prior to the IPL 2019 will be held in December. Thursday (November 15) was the final date for eight teams to release their respective squads prior to the auction.

Some high profile names like Yuvraj Singh (Kings XI), Gautam Gambhir (Daredevils) were failed to attract retention while some others like David Warner (Sunrisers), Steve Smith (Royals) and Prithvi Shaw (Daredevils) were retained by their respective teams.
