Bengaluru, September 26: Two of the in-form sides, Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders clash in Match 38 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Sunday (September 26).

Mahendra Singh Dhoni's CSK and Eoin Morgan's KKR come into the first match of Sunday's double-header on the back of victories over Royal Challengers Bangalore and reigning champions Mumbai Indians.

While CSK went to the top of the table following their seventh win of the season in 9 matches with 14 points, KKR, who had a first phase to forget, pushed themselves into play-off contention after their fourth win with 8 points and better net run rate on board.

In their most recent outing in IPL 2021, CSK defeated RCB by 6 wickets and KKR defeated MI by 7 wickets. In their first matches in the second phase, CSK defeated MI by 20 runs, while KKR defeated RCB by 9 wickets.
