Bengaluru, October 14: Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders clash in the IPL 2021 Final at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai on Friday (October 15).

Eoin Morgan-led KKR beat Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Eliminator and got past Delhi Capitals despite a late collapse in the Qualifier 2 to reach the summit clash, while Mahendra Singh Dhoni's CSK defeated DC in Qualifier 1 for a direct route to the Final.

While vintage Dhoni finish handed CSK a 4-wicket win against DC, Rahul Tripathi held the nerve after his team suffered a collapse to hit a six off the penultimate ball to take KKR past DC with 3 wickets and a ball to spare.

This will be three-time champions CSK's ninth final and two-time champions KKR's third final in the Indian Premier League. Friday's meeting will also be the two sides' second meeting in the IPL final, the first since 2012, when KKR went all the way to win their maiden IPL title.
