Bengaluru, April 15: Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell has literally re-invented himself at the Virat-Kohli led Royal Challengers Bangalore franchise in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 season.

Maxwell endured a terrible 2020 IPL campaign in the United Arab Emirates, averaging 15.42 for Kings XI Punjab as he made only 108 runs.

The victory also propelled RCB to th top of IPL 2021 standings. They next take on Eoin Morgan-led Kolkata Knight Riders on Sunday (April 18).

For the David Warner-led Sunrisers, it is back to the drawing board. Their next assignment is against five-time champions Mumbai Indians on Saturday (April 17).
