Umar Akmal took to Twitter to congratulate Australian opener and SRH skipper David Warner but in a major faux pas, the Pakistani batter congratulated former for winning Pakistan Super Leauge (PSL) instead of IPL.
"Congratulations to @davidwarner31 n team well deserving win #psl2016final," tweeted Akmal.

Here is how fans reacted:
@Umar96Akmal @davidwarner31 Umar Bhai PSL ka Final tha mistake theek karlo.

It was after his tweet when people over social media trolled the Pakistani batsman for his mistake. The cricketer soon realised his mistake, deleted his tweet and posted a new one but the damage had already been done by then.
Earlier on Sunday night, SRH held their nerve in a last-over thriller to edge RCB by 8 runs for their maiden IPL crown. SRH scored 208/7 and kept RCB to 200/7 in the final.
Cricket world showered praise over David Warner for his achievement.
