The new season of the world's biggest cricket league - Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 kicked off last week with the clash of champions as holders Gujarat Titans took on Chennai Super Kings.
The IPL 2023 marks the return of the fans in full capacity to the venues and also the return of the traditional home and away format in which the home teams' play their home games at their respective home venues.
The season 16 of Indian Premier League will see 10 teams battle for the coveted title. There will be 70 league matches hosted across 12 venues in 12 different cities. While 8 teams will play their home matches at their actual homes, two teams will split their matches in two venues.
With the fans hoping to cheer for their teams at the venue, we take a look how to book tickets for IPL 2023 matches offline at every venue or online through mobile and website.
The tickets can be bought online or offline. The online partners for each team varies and rates of the tickets also vary depending on the teams, the stadiums and the stands or boxes.
The price starts at Rs 400 at some venues, Rs 800 at some venues and Rs 1200 at some venues. The price for ticket goes all the way up to Rs 5000, Rs 14,000, Rs 15,000, Rs 18,000, Rs 25,000 and Rs 35,000.
Lucknow Super Giants have reduced their starting ticket price from Rs 499 to Rs 349 for the matches at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium in Lucknow.
If you fail to land tickets online, fans can purchase the tickets from the counters at the respective venues at least two days prior to the match or depending on when the franchise opt to sell offline tickets.
Apart from the box-offices at the stadiums, few franchises also sell tickets on BookMyShow and PayTM Insider and some sell the tickets on their official websites.
CSK, GT, Lucknow Super Giants, Punjab Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad allow spectators to book tickets via PayTM Insider, while Rajasthan Royals, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Mumbai Indians' online destination is BookMyShow.
Tickets for Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals can be booked on their respective official websites. DC also allow their fans to book their tickets via Insider.
