Kolkata Knight Riders host Gujarat Titans in match 39 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Saturday (April 29) with the first match of the double-header set to start at 3:30 PM IST.
Nitish Rana's KKR head into the match on the back of their third win of this season, while GT led by Hardik Pandya are fresh from their fifth win of the campaign. KKR has won 3 of 8, while GT has won 5 of 7 matches so far.
In the reverse fixture earlier this month, Rinku Singh starred as KKR pulled off an impossible run chase of 205 against the defending champions GT at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Now, the two former champions will clash at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata, which will host it's fourth match of the season. KKR have lost two and won one at their home so far.
KKR opened their home campaign with a convincing 81-run win over Royal Challengers Bangalore, but lost to Sunrisers Hyderabad by 23 runs in a high-scoring match and followed with another 49-run loss to Chennai Super Kings in the most recent game.
