Lucknow, April 21: Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will host Gujarat Titans (GT) in match 30 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on Saturday (April 22).
KL Rahul-led LSG will look to carry on their winning momentum after securing their fourth win of the season, while Hardik Pandya-led GT will look to bounce back after suffering their second defeat of the season at home.
In the recent outings, LSG defended 154 against Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur. The Lucknow-based side bounced back from a home loss to Punjab Kings. Their record this season stands at 4 wins and 2 defeats.
In the other matches, LSG, who opened their campaign with a victory over Delhi Capitals, lost to Chennai Super Kings, but secured wins against Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad.
GT, on the other hand, suffered a 3-wicket loss to RR in Ahmedabad. Before that defeat, GT had bounced back from a defeat at home to KKR at home with an away win against PBKS. Earlier, the defending champions had registered wins over CSK and DC.
This will be the third meeting between the debutants from last season in IPL. GT beat LSG twice last season. This will also be the first between the two sides at the BRSABV Stadium, which hosts it's fourth IPL match.
