Revealed: Team Modi's exclusive plan to defeat ISIS with Cricket

New Delhi, Aug 20: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his team in the Centre have been preparing exclusive plans to defeat ISIS and other terror groups in the country, especially in Jammu and Kashmir.

The central government was worried about growing support for ISIS among youth in Kashmir. Lately, ISIS flags were displayed several times at different protests in Srinagar and other parts of the state.

Now, the central government-led by Modi reportedly decided that they would engage the youth of Jammu and Kashmir with the two most popular sports in the state -- cricket and football.

According to a TV news channel, Rajnath Singh, the Home Minister, recently asked Union Sports Ministry to prepare a comprehensive plan to engage the young people of Kashmir in sports.

NDTV quoted Sports Minister Sarbananda Sonowal as saying, "Sports would be a good way to positively motivate the youth... In our first budget, under the leadership of PM Modi, Rs. 200 crore was allocated to Jammu and Kashmir. This shows the Centre's special interest in Kashmir."

The union sports ministry now would upgrade different stadia and training facilities in the state. Talent hunt programmes and competitions too would be held across the state.

The ministry officials also informed that the government would provide opportunity to local players from the state to participate at national sporting events.
