    Nathan Coulter-Nile b Shadab Khan 34 (29)

OUT! Bowled. Shadab Khan to Nathan Coulter-Nile. Googly length ball, off stump on the front foot slog sweeping, missed to.

Pakistan have demolished Australia in Abu Dhabi to take a 1-0 lead in the T20I series. Their total of 155/8 was set up by Babar Azam's classy unbeaten 68, with the right-hander carrying his bat through the innings to hold things together. Australia weren't at their best in the field with fumbles and dropped catches littered throughout the innings, but they fought back admirably towards the death. Despite an alarming collapse from 105/1 to 133/8, a late cameo by Hasan Ali lifted the men in green to a competitive looking score. That momentum carried into the field with the result pretty much sealed by the end of the powerplay. Aaron Finch's men sunk to 22/6 as Imad Wasim (3/20) and Faheem Ashraf (2/10) ran amok through the top order. Nathan Coulter-Nile did his best to delay the inevitable, but the batting effort by Australia was fittingly summed up when his bat went flying out of his hands as the stumps were shattered for the final wicket. Let's see if the visitors can bounce back in the 2nd T20I on Friday night.
