Sachin Tendulkar undergoes knee surgery in London, fans wish him speedy recovery

London, July 7: India's cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar has undergone a knee surgery at a hospital in London.

The leading run scorer of all time and India's heartthrob, shared the news on his Twitter handle.

Sachin Tendulkar undergoes knee surgery in London


"Some injuries trouble even after retirement, but I will be back very soon doing the things I enjoy. Had a knee operation & resting," Sachin wrote on Twitter.

In no time the 'God of Cricket' shared his image, his handle was flooded with reactions from his fans spread all over the world. Everyone greeted him a healthy year ahead and wished him speedy recovery.

The iconic Indian batsman was travelling around the United Kingdom in recent times and was frequently sharing his images of his tour.

Tendulkar, who is the only cricketer to have hit 100 international centuries, has aggregated 15,921 runs in 200 Test appearances for India. He also scored a staggering 18,426 runs from 463 ODIs he played.

Both these milestones set by the Master Blaster are still intact.
