The unique format of the form, which has gained everyone's attention, will be officialy launched during the month of April.

President Ram Nath Kovind inaugurates

Lucknow, Febraury27: iB Cricket, a revolutionary Virtual Reality Cricket Sport (vSport), developed by ProYuga Advanced Technologies was launched by the country's President Ram Nath Kovind on the sidelines of the recent UP Investors' Summit 2018.

The custom-made electronic bat used in the game was unveiled by the president during the function. The unique format of the game, which has gained everyone's attention, will be officialy launched during the month of April.

Former India cricketer Virender Sehwag was intrigued by the way the game is played and how the president of the country became the "opener" for it. He took to Twitter to sum up his feelings.

"The landscape of eSports and VR is experiencing a transformation. ProYuga is at the forefront of this change and ahead of the global market. It's overwhelming to witness the unparalleled commitment shown by UP Govt & iB Hubs towards nurturing a robust and vibrant start-up ecosystem", said ProYuga Advanced Technologies CEO Trivikram Reddy.

IBC is considered the most immersive VR Cricket experience according to people who have experienced it across the world. It aims to benefit over one lakh members by opening 25,000 franchises across India.

iB Cricket is gearing up for its worldwide launch in April.

"We plan to have a simultaneous launch of the product in 25 different countries. We're highly positive about its potential and are sure that it'll be played and enjoyed by a large audience globally," Trivikram added.

iB Hubs CEO Alekhya added, "We're very happy to support young start-ups like
ProYuga to come up with world-class innovations. In the future as well, iB Hubs will assist such committed start-ups and we're confident that with the system developed by iB Hubs, Indian start-ups can expand globally within six months."
