WC 2015: Inshallah we will win, said Bangladeshi PM after India lost 3 wickets

Dhaka, March 19: Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was ecstatic after India lost 3 wickets for 115 runs inside 28 years during their quarter-final match against India at Melbourne Cricket Ground on Thursday.

According to a report in bdnews24.com, PM Hasina who was present at an event to hand out fellowship and research grants here, spoke about the match. She said: "Inshallah, we will win", after the third wicket fell, the news report quoted her sa saying.

3 Indian wickets impressed PM Hasina

The prime minister said India lost three wickets by the time she arrived at the event and thanked the journalists present there for updating her about the match report.

She said Bangladesh has every chance to win against India, after their good show against England. Bangladesh beat England by 15 runs in the group to qualify for their first-ever quarter-final in the World Cup.

Bangladesh's national cricketers had met PM Hasina on January 21 before leaving for Australia for the World Cup.
