EPL 2012-13: Premier League results report - Game Week 25

London, Feb 3: Moussa Sissoko scored a double to help Newcastle United comeback to beat Chelsea 3-2 at St James' Park. Alan Pardew's French revolution has worked wonders for the club with back-to-back wins. The French midfielder, who was bought from Toulouse for roughly £2million, scored on his home debut as the Magpies to continue survival bid.

Manchester United went 10-points clear at the top of table after winning 1-0 against Fulham thanks to Wayne Rooney's fantastic finish. United held on to the narrow win as Fulham created and threatened towards the end.

Arsenal moved up to fifth spot after Lukas Podolski's deflected free-kick gave the Gunners a narrow 1-0 win at th Emirates Stadium.

Marouane Fellaini helped Everton come back from two-goals down to equalise 3-3 against Aston Villa at Goodison Park. Christian Benteke scored twice for the Villans while Victor Anichebe and Gabriel Agbonlahor scored one goal each.

Reading continued their impressive winning run in the league with a 2-1 victory over Sunderland. The Royals stayed above the relegation zone thanks to two-goals from Jimmy Kebe.

Shaun Maloney clinched a vital point for Wigan Athletic with a late equaliser against Southampton. The 2-2 draw means the Latics remain at 18th place while the Saints are on 16th place.

West Ham United grabbed all three points as Andy Carroll scored the all-important winner to keep Swansea City at bay. Carroll is coming off a 10 week absence due to injury and also ended his goal drought of one goal in 17 league games.

Adel Taarabt missed a penalty as QPR held on for a disappointing 0-0 draw against Norwich City at Loftus Road.

Sergio Aguero netted a superb goal from an acute angle to give Manchester City a vital point against Liverpool. Steven Gerrard's fantastic strike from long range put the Reds in a winning position against the champions after Daniel Sturridge cut-out Edin Dzeko's opening goal. The 2-2 draw means City are now nine points below league leaders Manchester United.

Gareth Bale's stunning goal helped Tottenham beat 10-man West Brom Albion 1-0 at the Hawthorns and closed the gap on third placed Chelsea to one point. The Baggies were reduced to 10-man after Goran Popov was shown a straight red for spitting on Kyle Walker.
