New Delhi, Aug 31: India and Syria will clash in the Nehru Cup finals again on Monday, Aug 31 at the Ambedkar Stadium in New Delhi.
The defending champs beat Syria in the 2007 Nehru Cup finals and are playing this tournament amid very high expectations.
While the team team is going strong especially with the strong partnership of Bhutia and Sunil Chettri, Syrian team has proved its might by winning all all their four league matches.
Syria has performed brilliantly in the four league matches and has not let opposing team to score even a single goal in these matches.
However, even in the 2007 series, India had lost the league match against Syria but managed to defeat them in the finals.
