Bengaluru, Sept. 20: Every goal in Premier League is unique, however, getting a hattrick after coming off the bench is extraordinary.

Tottenham Hotspur star Son Heung-min has become the latest name to have joined such an exclusive group, after coming off the bench to end his goalless run with a quick-fire hattrick against Leicester.

The 30-year-old was introduced just before the hour against the Foxes however he ended the game with a treble to his name. He has now become the seventh player ever to score a hattrick after coming off the bench.

Here we have taken a look at six previous stars who achieved the same feat:

1. Steven Naismith – Everton v Chelsea (2015)

The Everton attacker embarked his name on the record book after scoring a memorable hattrick against Jose Mourinho's Chelsea. Naismith appeared in the game just after 15 minutes after an injury to Mo Besic. The Scotland international proceeded to enjoy a perfect evening next with three goals against the English giants, winning the game 3-1.

2. Romelu Lukaku – West Bromwich Albion v Manchester United (2013)

Sir Alex Ferguson’s final game in charge produced one of the classics of English football which ended in 5-5. A young Lukaku scored three times coming off the bench as West Brom drew level during the final nine minutes of the game.

3. Emmanuel Adebayor – Derby v Arsenal (2008)

The Togo international was top at his game that very season and Derby County had to face his outrage. Adebayor joined this exclusive list of super-subs to score a hattrick against minnows Derby after coming off the bench at half-time. The game ended at 6-2.

4. Robert Earnshaw – Charlton v West Bromwich Albion (2005)

The Wales international is the only player to have scored a hat-trick in the Premier League, all three divisions of the English Football League, the League Cup, the FA Cup, and for his country in an international match. He recorded his Premier League hattrick against Charlton handing them a fine result to win the game 4-1.

5. Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink – Chelsea v Wolves (2004)

The Dutchman came on after the hour mark and the game was tied at 2-2. But the 32-year-old's intervention completely changed the tie after scored a quickfire treble handing Chelsea a memorable 5-2 victory.

6. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer – Manchester United v Nottingham Forest (1999)

Probably the best of the lot, the Manchester United striker produced one of the finest displays ever by a super-sub. The Norway international was introduced in the 71st minute but he ended the game with four goals to his name as the match completed at 8-1.
