UEFA Champions League 2012-13 Round of 16 Preview

Paris, Mar 6: Celtic need a miracle to turn around a 3-0 deficit in the Champions League second leg tie against Juventus on Wednesday.

Neil Lennon's side suffered a huge defeat despite having possession for large parts of the game. Late strikes from Claudio Marchisio and Mirko Vucinic put the Italian giants in pole position to qualify to the quarter-finals.

Both teams have been leading on top of their respective domestic leagues but Juve are unbeatable at home, conceding only eight goals in their last 14 league games.

Celtic will look back to their historic 2-1 win over Barcelona in the group stages but the Hoops need four goals to progress.

Celtic skipper Scott Brown is out injured with a thigh injury while right-back Mikael Lustig is unfit to face the Italian champions.

Nicolas Anelka, Martin Caceres and Paolo De Ceglie will be given a late fitness test after missing the league game against Napoli.

Probable Lineups:

Juventus (3-5-2): Buffon-Barzagli, Bonucci, Peluso-Pirlo-Lichtsteiner, Vidal, Marchisio, Asamoah-Vucinic, Giovinco

Celtic (4-3-3): Forster-Matthews, Ambrose, Wilson, Izaguirre-Ledley, Wanyama, Commons-Forrest, Hooper, Samaras

PSG vs Valencia

Valencia hope to overcome a 2-1 loss to PSG in the second-leg of the Champions League last 16.

Adil Rami struck one back during injury-time to give some hope to the Spanish side but what looked like a comfortable away win at the Mestalla turned bad when Zlatan Ibrahimovic was sent off.

PSG will be without their prolific goal-scorer. The big Swede has netted 22 times in the league and two in the Champions League. Carlo Ancelotti will also without suspended Marco Verratti while forward Jeremy Menez is out injured.

David Beckham is in contention for a start but will face competition with Clement Chantome. Thiago Silva could return to the side after injury concerns alongwith Christophe Jallet.

Valencia coach Ernesto Valverde will play Jeremy Mathieu and Victor Ruiz in central defence following injuries to Adil Rami and Ricardo Costa.

Probable Lineups:

PSG (4-4-2): Sirigu-Jallet, Alex, Thiago Silva, Maxwell-Lucas Moura, Matuidi, Chantome, Pastore-Lavezzi, Gameiro

Valencia (4-2-3-1): Alves-Pereira, Victor Ruiz, Mathieu, Guardado-Parejo, T Costa-Feghouli, Banega, Jonas-Soldado
