Govt Mahindra College thrashes Surana College 5-1 in Nehru Hockey

New Delhi, Feb 9 (UNI) Govt. Mahindra College, Patiala routed Surana College, Bangalore 5-1, while Municipal College, Rourkela beat Bhagwan Mahaveer College, Bangalore 2-1 in the 14th SAIL Nehru Champion Colleges Hockey Tournament here today.

Earlier in the first match of the day, Pachaiyappa College, Chennai got the better of Gurukul Kangri, Haridwar to win 3-1.

Tomorrow, Faculty of Arts and Education Annamalainagar will be up against Kirori Mal College, Delhi, while Faculty of Humanity and Social Sciences, Varanasi will take on Gurukul Kangri College, Haridwar.

In the final match of the day, Jawaharlal Nehru College, Bhopal will face off against Municipal College, Rourkela.
