Slovenia to battle agaisnt the U.S: Brief Preview

Johannesburg(Ellis Park): Slovenia will clash against USA in a their Group C match at Johannesburg in Ellis Park.

Slovenia after their 1-0 win against Algeria would be looking out for their second victory and a spot in the knockout stages.
Meanwhile, midfielder Andrej Komac is confident of a victory against the Americans.

"We are going to win this match," Komac said after practice Tuesday, according to fifa.com reports.

Meanwhile, USA will be high on confidence with a draw against one of the highly rated teams, England. They would be hoping to win against Slovenia and spoil their party. A defeat to Slovenia at Ellis Park on Friday would not see the Americans mathematically eliminated, but it would mean that they have climb an uphill task in their final game and rely on the results of the other teams.

Tim Howard, their goal keeper was brilliant against the English attack, making commendable saves and denying the England strikers to score a goal. His present form will surely be required when they face off against the Slovenia side. Steve Cherundolo in the midfield was impressive in their opening match England, and he would have to play a major role for the Americans in this critical match.
