Plenty of sports talents in the country: Rathore

Jamui, Jan 4 (UNI) Olympic silver medalist and renowned shooting champion Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore today said there were plenty of sports talents in the country who need patronage to proceed in the right earnest.

Speaking to mediapersons at Gidhor here, Mr Rathore said the atheletes need to work hard on their routine exercise so that they excel in the respective events.

He also suggested for setting up a Shooting Range in the district to provide world class infrastucture to the local talents ultimately culminating into positive results during the championships at National and International levels.

Mr Rathore, a double trap Olymic Silver medalist also demanded to host G V Mavalankar National Shooting Championship 2008 here at Giddhor with Digvijay Singh, chairman National Rifle Association.
