• Diksha Dagar, who had had a rough start in her maiden Olympics after five bogeys and no birdies, is tied 56th after round one. She will tee off at 7.39 AM.

After India went down fighting 5-2 against Belgium in the first semi-final of Tokyo 2020, Australia hammered Germany 3-1 in the second semi-final to set up a summit clash with Belgium for the gold medal. The gold medal match will also be held on August 5 but after the bronze medal game.

Ravi Kumar Dahiya defeated Colombia's Oscar Tigreros in the 1/8 Final and Bulgaria's Georgi Valentinov Vangelov in the 1/4 Final via technical superiority to reach the semifinal, in which he defeated Kazakhstan's Nurislam Sanayev to book a gold medal meeting with second seeded Russian Zavur Uguev.
Wrestling - Men's Freestyle 86 kg - Deepak Punia - Bronze Medal Match - 4.40 PM
Deepak Punia, who had earned a technical superiority win over Nigeria's Ekerekeme Agiomor in the 1/8 Final and a win on points against China's Zushen Lin in the 1/4 Final, lost to USA's David Taylor III in the semifinal to settle for a bronze medal bout against one of the repechage winners.
