Shanghai, November 25: Kelvin Gastelum stands tall in China as he stops former Middleweight champion Michael Bisping in UFC Fight Night 122 at Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai on Saturday (November 25).

Gastelum knocked out Bisping midway through the first round in a fight the Brit took just three weeks after he lost the middleweight belt to Georges St-Pierre.

In the co-main event of the evening, a straight right hand from Li Jingliang put Zak Ottow down in the opening round, and a torrent of punches and hammerfists sealed the deal moments later in a featherweight bout.

With that, Jingliang had a win in front of his home crowd, finishing off Ottow via TKO at the 2:57 mark of Round 1.

To open the main card we witnessed an upset as Alex Garcia turned out to have a solid plan for shouting down the highly touted newcomer Muslim Salikhov and took the fight to the floor, locked up the rear-naked choke to force the tap at the 3:22 mark of Round 2 in a welterweight bout.

In the featherweight bout that followed, Wang Guan was too much for Alex Caceres to handle where he was on the wrong end of a split-decision with a pair of 29-28 scores going in Guan's favour.

A Heavyweight bout opened up the event in Shanghai where Cyril Asker choked out Hu Yaozong to pick up a first round submission victory. Followed it was featherweight bout where Ronaldo Dy earned points across the board to earn unanimous decision against UFC newcomer Wuliji Buren.

Next up, Giana Mazany settled for a win on the scorecards after she dominated Wu Yanan in all three rounds to take the unanimous decision victory with scores of 30-27 across the board in a women's bantamweight bout.

In a heavyweight bout that followed, Shamil Abdurakhimov bounced back from his defeat to Derrick Lewis in 2016 when he knocked out Chase Sherman in just 84 seconds of the first round with a big right hand and a follow-up left hook.

Next up, the youngest UFC competitor Song Yadong met the first Indian-born MMA fighter, Bharat Khandare where the Chinese found range and dropped Khandare to the floor with a clean shot to the jaw and then caught him in a guillotine choke to force the tap at the 4:16 mark of Round 1.

Later, in a women's strawweight bout, Yan Xiaonan won on her UFC debut with a unanimous decision over Kailin Curran, thanks to her standup game, which held up over Curran's propensity for takedown attempts.

Next up, we witnessed the fastest victory in UFC history when Kenan Song knocked out Bobby Nash after he connected a right to earn the stoppage at just 15 seconds of the first round.
