Ivanovic and Schweinsteiger to become parents

Bengaluru, November 24: Following the likes of Kim Clijsters, Serena Williams and Victoria Azarenka, Ana Ivanovic is line to become the next tennis mom!

Former world No.1 Ivanovic, who got married to German World Cup-winner Bastian Schweinsteiger in July, last year, is expecting a baby soon.

The tennis diva herself revealed about the impending arrival of the new member in the family in a special post on social media with an image of three pairs of shoes - two big pairs for the two of them and one baby pair for the new member of the family.

"A little extension to our family... couldn't be more happy,'' the Serb tweeted alongside the adorable image.

Bayern Munich legend Schweinsteiger, who has had a short stint with Premier League giants Manchester United and currently plies his trade in America playing for MLS side Chicago Fire, also tweeted, but in a different way!

"We are expecting a new family member and are so grateful!' tweeted Schweinsteiger, who was part of Germany's 2014 World Cup-winning squad where they beat arch-rivals Argentina in the final.

Ivanovic, who won the French Open in 2008 for the only Grand Slam of her career and Schweinsteiger had been romantically linked to each other since 2014 and finally tied the knot on July 12, 2016, in a lavish ceremony in the Central Italian city of Venice.

The duo are still passionate about sports and had been spotted recently watching the NFL Games together.
