FIFA U-17 World Cup trophy unveiled at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium

Kochi (Kerala), Sep 22 (ANI): The 'God's Own Country' welcomed the FIFA U-17 World Cup trophy on Friday with great fervour at the Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium in Kerala. State Sports Minister AC Moideen unveiled the trophy enabling the thousands of fans to catch a glimpse of the Official Winners' Trophy'. Dancers wearing traditional dresses performed the traditional art forms of Kerala in the ground. FIFA winner's trophy has been kept on display in the stadium, enabling thousands of fans to pose in front of it for photos and selfies. FIFA U-17 will kick-off from October 6, 2017, and a total of 52 games will be played. The Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium will host eight FIFA matches in total this October. These matches will feature football powerhouses Brazil, Spain and Germany among other countries.
