IPL 2022: Closing Ceremony: All you need to know!

The curtains will drop on the 15th edition of the IPL with a glitzy closing ceremony at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Here's everything you need to know.

In the IPL 2022 final, Gujarat Titans will take on Rajasthan Royals in front of over one lakh fans at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
Final to start at 8
The final has been pushed back by half an hour as the tournament is set to witness a 45-minute closing ceremony. The gala ceremony will have over 700 people performing.

The closing ceremony, which will celebrate the milestone 15 years of IPL and also India's 75 years of independence, is being held after three years.
The last time the IPL witnessed a closing ceremony was back in 2019. The ceremony will get underway at 6:30pm IST.
Leading the celebrations will be AR Rahman, who will be performing with his troops at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
The spectators will also be treated to a performance by bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh.
Bollywood star
It will be the first-time ever that the IPL closing ceremony will be broadcast in Augmented Reality (AR).
Folk artists
Folk artists from all ten states will be celebrating the ten teams in the IPL.
The ceremony, which will be held in front of dignitaries, will honour former captains.
The closing ceremony will be held from 6:30pm onwards and the toss will be held at 7:30pm IST.
