Friday's encounter in Mumbai will be crucial as a win for Royals will confirm their playoff berth.
Chennai on the other hand will be playing for pride as they are already out of the race.
Points Table
Inaugural champions Rajasthan have eight wins from 13 games and are currently placed third on the points table.
Points Table
Defending champions CSK have had a season to forget and are languishing at the ninth spot on the points table, with just four wins from 13 games.
A win for Sanju Samson's side will not only see them secure a playoff berth, but they will also clinch a top-two finish as they enjoy a higher net run rate than LSG.
For the Royals this season, Jos Buttler has been a key figure, with three hundreds and three half-centuries to his name. Having failed to fire in the last few games, Buttler will look to bounce back in their final league game
Meanwhile one of the biggest positives for RR has been Yuzvendra Chahal. Chahal has been Royals key wicket-taker with 24 wickets to his name
Along with Chahal, R Ashwin, Trent Boult and Prasidh Krishna, Royals have one of the best bowling line-ups this season & the struggling CSK batsmen will have their task cut out.
For Chennai, opener Ruturaj Gaikwad, who had an off colour start this season, has found his footing, and will be key for CSK.
Chennai, who will enter the match on the back of two consecutive losses, will hope to finish their disastrous season with a win

The two sides have faced off 25 times with Chennai having won 15 times and Rajasthan on 10 occasions. This will be their first meeting this season.
