Though RR missed out on the trophy, the Royals sweeped most of the awards - which speaks volumes of their season.

Royals' star opening batsman Jos Buttler enjoyed a sensational season as he finished as the highest run scorer with 863 runs from 17 matches.

Buttler's season included four centuries and five half-centuries. Buttler is the second-highest run scorer in a season in the IPL after Virat Kohli's 973 in 2016.
Not only did Buttler pick up the purple cap, he was also adjudged the most valuable player of the season.
