Bengaluru, June 4: Brock Lesnar is in the middle of a hiatus following the biggest event of the year in April. He was last seen on WWE programme two months ago, during the main event of Night 2 of WrestleMania 36. He lost the WWE Championship on that night to Drew McIntyre in a physical match and went into the usual time-off that he goes through after any of the big-four pay-per-view events.
For the past couple of years, the promotion utilized Brock Lesnar systematically even after the WrestleMania season was over which kept the speculations floating about his potential comeback at a certain point. But it might not be happening until 2020 SummerSlam comes around.
According to Tom Colohue's reports, the officials are hoping to have the fans back to live events by August, the same month when the next big-four PPV, SummerSlam is scheduled. So they are hoping to book Lesnar for that show.
