WWE: Big match featuring Brock Lesnar announced for Madison Square Garden Show

Bengaluru, February 17: WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar will feature in a triple threat match for the championship belt against Kane and Braun Strowman, according to latest matches announced for the March 16 Madison Square Garden show in New York City.

This will be that time of the year when the bigger storylines will pick up for the showcase of immortals, Wrestlemania 34. WWE always reserves the very best for the MSG special and this time too, there is no exception. Regular names like John Cena, Roman Reigns will compete as well as the part-time performer, Brock Lesnar.

As reported earlier, John Cena will team up with Nikki Bella to take on the team of Bayley and Elias in a mixed tag team match. The power couple of the WWE are competing together for the first time since Wrestlemania 33.

In a rematch of the Royal Rumble pay-per-view, Brock Lesnar has been added to the card, where he will put his Universal Championship on the line against Braun Strowman and Kane. WrestlingINC.com disclosed this match.

A source also confirmed the franchise player of the WWE, Roman Reigns, will compete in a huge tag team fight at the Madison Square Garden. Previously, the schedule stated that he will be challenging The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship. Later, he was advertised to team up with two marquee names from WWE Raw.

It was also revealed by the source that the beast incarnate was added to work in one episode of WWE Raw prior to Wrestlemania. With multiple appearances in the near future, he is likely to build up the storyline angle for the biggest event of the year.

Here's what was disclosed by the source: “There will also be a big 8-Man Tag Team Match pitting Braun Strowman, Roman Reigns, John Cena and Seth Rollins against The Miz, Kane, Cesaro, and Sheamus. This dark match is also slated for the following week's Raw from the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.”
