ISL 2021-22: League Shield Winners, Prize Money, Stats and Records

After 110 matches, the Indian Super League season 8 league phase came to an end on March 7. Here we take a look at ISL 2021-22 League Shield winners and other important stats.
Jamshedpur FC defeated ATK Mohun Bagan 1-0 to lift their first ever League Shield title. This is also the third time in 8 seasons the trophy was presented to the league leaders.

The 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons saw the League Shield winners pocket a cash reward of INR 50 Lakhs. However, from 2021-22 season FDSL allocated INR 3.5 Crore as cash reward for the Shield winners.
FC Goa and Mumbai City FC were the previous winners of the League Shield in 2019-20 and 2020-21 respectively.

Jamshedpur FC will now play Kerala Blasters in the two-legged semifinal for a spot in the finals where they get a chance to be ISL Champions. ATK Mohun Bagan will play Hyderabad FC in the other semifinals.
What next for the League Shield winners?
The League Winners are rewarded with the highest honour to represent India in Asia's showpiece club football competition - the AFC Champions League.
