Rumour: Undertaker’s current status in WWE, potential date of return

By Raja

Bengaluru, Sep 18: As per the reported by WWE in recent times, the Undertaker is still considered to be one of the hottest free agents in the pro-wrestling industry.

Since he has been done with his Wrestlemania match in his home state of Dallas, Texas, this year, many speculated that it was the last match in the WWE.

However, once the WWE Draft got announced for the month of July, we expected to return him for one of the brands. But, that did not turn out to be the case. In fact, he was not even featured in the draftee list.

WWE could have used his name to draw more attention in the Draft. But, it would not make any sense, since he is not supposed to show up in the near future. Since Wrestlemania rumors were running rampant that the Deadman himself does not want to step foot inside the squared circle, anymore.

Vince McMahon asked to digest a loss at the grandest stage against his son and he got furious over the fact.

In the show though the Undertaker ended up winning the bout, Shane's jump from the roof of the Hell in a Cell structure stole the show.

He was heard telling people backstage that he is done with wrestling. Adding fuels to the rumors were the fact that he left his punching gloves in the middle of the ring, after the match.

In addition, he was not communicating with Mr. McMahon who wanted to make an appearance with him at Summerslam.

However, latest reports indicate that the Phenome is moved a bit from his previous standings and agreed to have one last match at next year's Wrestlemania.

So, he is going to return only when the hype up for Wrestlemania starts to build up.

The last match for might turned out to be the one against John Cena which was originally planned for Wrestlemania 32.

As seen in the above picture he might be in talks with Smackdown Live commissioner to join the blue brand upon return.

The match does make sense since John Cena is also on the Smackdown brand. To say the least, it is a much-anticipated match in our generation and we are probably going to get it at the next Wrestlemania.
