Bengaluru, Dec 13: Cristiano Ronaldo bagged his fourth Ballon d'Or award last night after beating arch-rival Lionel Messi and Antoine Griezmann.

Ronaldo stood out as a clear cut winner as he got 745 votes 400 more than second placed Lionel Messi who got 316.

The Real Madrid superstar will never forget the year 2016 in which he won the UEFA Champions League with Real Madrid and then inspired Portugal to win the Euro 2016.

Ronaldo in 2016 has played 42 matches so far scoring 38 goals. He has also scored 5 hat-tricks in this calendar year which totally justifies him winning the coveted award.
