UEFA Europa League: Round of 16 Draw in Full as Arsenal, Manchester United learn opponenents

The UEFA Europa League Round of 16 draw took place on Friday (February 24) at the UEFA centre in Nyon, Switzerland.

After the play-off fixtures, the final 16 teams in the tournament have found their opponents for the next round in the European competition.

Europa League Round of 16 Draw Seeded Teams:

The eight winners of the eight groups in the Group league phase of the Europa League competition were the eight-seeded teams going into the draw. Those teams will be playing the second leg of the Round of 16 ties at home. The eight seeded teams were- Arsenal, Fenerbahce, Real Betis, Real Sociedad, Union St. Gilloise, Feyenoord, SC Freiburg and Ferencvaros

Europa League Round of 16 unseeded Teams:

The eight winners from the play-off stage were the unseeded teams. They will play the first leg at their own home. Manchester United, who beat Barcelona on Thursday to advance were among the unseeded teams. The unseeded teams were- Manchester United, Juventus, Sporting CP, Bayer Leverkusen, Sevilla, Shakhtar Donetsk, AS Roma, Union Berlin.

UEFA Europa League Round of 16 Dates and Time:

The matches of the Europa League Round of 16 will be played a two-legged tie. The first leg will be played on March 9 and the second leg will be played on March 16. All matches will be starting at 8.00 pm GMT, 1.30 am IST on the next day.
