ONE Championship: Three Fights To Make For Fabricio Andrade After ONE Fight Night 7

Bangkok, March 2: Fabricio Andrade finally realized his dream of winning the ONE Bantamweight World Title when he met heated rival John "Hands of Stone" Lineker last weekend.

The Brazilian became the first man to stop Lineker in his 46-fight career en route to claiming the vacant crown in the main event of ONE Fight Night 7 last Saturday, 25 February, as a new era in the division begins.

With a new king comes new challenges, though, so in this article, we take a look at three possible future fights for "Wonder Boy" Andrade in ONE Championship.

Stephen Loman

A frontrunner for the first shot at Andrade's crown, Stephen Loman makes sense as the next viable bantamweight contender.

The 17-2 Filipino is undefeated in ONE Championship, having won all three outings inside the Circle. Loman has long been hailed as one of Team Lakay's next big names, and so far he is living up to the billing.

"The Sniper" is the #3-ranked contender behind former champion Lineker, and his credentials in the bantamweight division make him a surefire name for "Wonder Boy," and what a barnburner of a matchup that would be.

Bibiano Fernandes

Having been the longest-reigning ONE Bantamweight World Champion, Fernandes is hoping for one more run up the mountaintop.

"The Flash" fell to Loman at ONE on Prime Video 4 last November, but he's still positioned as the #4-ranked bantamweight battler. So, his chances of seeing World Title ramifications are as good as any if he wins his next outing.

Jhanlo Mark Sangiao

Like his fellow Filipino teammate Loman, Jhanlo Mark Sangiao could also find himself in the title picture in 2023.

Sangiao arrived in the promotion in late 2021, and after two-first round submission victories over Paul Lumihi and Anacleto Lauron, the 5-0 hype train finds itself rolling into 2023 in fantastic shape.

At only 20 years old, though, there is still plenty of time for "The Machine" to develop his craft in ONE. However, if he can continue the fine form he has portrayed so far, his name will certainly be mentioned in World Title conversations.
