His gold medal win at age 18 years and 316 days also made him the second-youngest Thai Paralympic champion in any sport. The youngest remains Sopa Intasen, who won gold at the 2000 Games in Sydney at 18 years and 218 days old.

Fuse trains rigorously six days a week in the Nakhon Ratchasima province of Thailand. His dedication to his sport is evident in his consistent training schedule and commitment to improvement.

Award and Recognition

In recognition of his achievements, Fuse was chosen as Thailand's flag bearer at the opening ceremony of the 2022 ASEAN Para Games in Surakarta, Indonesia. This honour highlighted his status as a leading athlete in his country.

Future Ambitions

Looking ahead, Fuse aims to compete at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris. He anticipates tougher competition compared to Tokyo. "For this competition [Paris 2024], I am trying to train more than last time because it is likely to be a harder and more difficult task [to win medals]," he said.

He acknowledges that athletes from China and Finland pose significant challenges. "The Finnish athletes are top-notch and cannot be underestimated. As for the Chinese athletes, they have developed themselves to be very strong," he added.

Fuse's journey from a teenager in Thailand to a celebrated athlete on the international stage is a testament to his hard work and determination. As he prepares for Paris 2024, all eyes will be on him to see if he can replicate or surpass his previous successes.
