22nd Sub-Junior and Mini National Badminton Championship from Nov 10

Patna, Oct 6 (UNI) The 22nd sub-junior and mini national Badminton championship to be held here from November 10 to 16.

Chairman of Bihar Badminton Association Abdul Bari Siddiqui told mediapersons that more than 500 shuttlers from across the country would participate in the championship, second such tourney is being held in Bihar after 2002.

The qualifying matches would be held from November 10 to 11, Mr Siddiqui said adding those qualifying for quarter final would be required to under go medical tests to ascertain their age.

For sub junior level, the upper age limit would be sixteen years while it would be thirteen for mini level badminton championship, he added.

The quarter finals would be held on November 14 while semi final and final matches to be held on November 15, and 16 respectively.
