Badminton: Saina Nehwal down with chicken pox

Hyderabad, Jul 30: India's ace shuttler, Saina Nehwal who recently brought home the Indonesian open has been affected by Chicken Pox.

The news comes as the young champ's was preparing for the upcoming World Badminton Championship.

The news was confirmed by her coach Pullela Gopichand, who also added that she will be fit for the World Championships.

He father, Harvir Singh Nehwal also expressed hope that his gutsy daughter would recover before the tournament so that she can give her best at the tournament.

World Championship or not, for proving her might in the Indonesian open, the shuttler has been nominated for the prestigious Arjuna Award by the Sports Ministry.
