AP boys, girls win inter-state Badminton titles

Puducherry, Sep 29 (UNI) Both Andhra Pradesh boys and girls bagged titles of the South Zone Inter-State Badminton Championships here today.

In the finals, Andhra Pradesh boys outplayed Karnataka 2-0, while girls prevailed over Kerala 3-1.

Following are the results Boys Andhra Pradesh bt Karnataka 2-0 Guru Sai Dutt (AP) bt Aditya Prakash(Ktk) 22-20,21-18 Guru Sai Dutt and Raviraj (AP) bt Aditya Prakash and Darshan Kulkarni(Ktk) 21-17,21-16.

Girls Sikki Reddy (AP) bt P C Thulasi (Ker) 21-16,21-18.

Sikki Reddy (AP) and P V Sindhu(AP) lost to P V Thulasi and Daya Elssa Jacob (Ker) 18-21,22-24 P V Sindhu(AP) bt Daya Elssa Jacob(Ker) 21-14,21-14.
